Risk / Disclosures

  1. Burns are irreversible. Once a burn completes, crypto sent to a dead address cannot be recovered, charity donations cannot be clawed back through this platform, and the platform service fee is not refunded.
  2. Rank has no cash value. A place on the board cannot be redeemed for money, prizes, tokens, or anything of value from this platform.
  3. Badges (all-time Top 10 / Top 50 and monthly Top 10 / Top 50) are status. They are not property you can redeem, sell, or collateralize. The live badge exists only while you currently hold that tier. Peak rank is a separate historical record.
  4. This platform is not a charity and does not claim 501(c)(3) status. It is a for-profit service that may route a portion of a submitted amount to named third-party charities after a platform fee.
  5. Platform fees are a service charge. Public burns: 12% + $0.99, with 10% on $1k–$10k and 8% above $10k, still plus $0.99. Corporate desk: 18% + $99. Cover-the-fee is optional and defaults ON for charity, OFF for crypto. When off, the fee comes out of what you submitted. When on, you pay the intended gift plus the fee so the target still receives the intended amount. Charity amounts are after fees.
  6. Charity line-items are always labeled 'donated after platform fee.' We never advertise '100% to charity' when a fee is taken.
  7. This is not financial advice. Nothing here is an invitation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.
  8. This is not a bank. We do not take deposits. We do not hold customer crypto or dollars as a custodian in v1 demo mode.
  9. This is not gambling. There is no raffle, loot box, or chance to win. Paying more increases rank only by increasing the verified remainder after fees.
  10. No refunds on completed burns.
  11. Users must be 18 or older.
  12. We do not sell rank or pay-to-pin on the leaderboard. We do not issue a token. Cosmetics are digital goods with no investment thesis and no promise they will go up in value.
  13. Pixel blocks on THE BURN WALL are advertising plus a burn. Not an investment, not land, not an NFT security. No claim that pixels will appreciate. No resale marketplace in v1.
  14. Board Pass includes a 1% fee rebate, shown in the breakdown. It does not change rank.
  15. Sponsored and Spotlight are advertising. Badges say SPONSORED or SPOTLIGHT / PAID. They are never Top 10.
  16. Verified is a paid identity check, not an endorsement, credit rating, or investment advice.
  17. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Rank is recorded only after a paid Stripe session or a verified on-chain burn.
