THE BURN BOARD

Terms of Service

  1. You must be 18 years of age or older to use THE MONEY BURN BOARD.
  2. THE MONEY BURN BOARD is a for-profit software and media service. It is not a charity, not a 501(c)(3), not a bank, not a broker, not a casino, and not a payment institution. It may route a portion of a submitted amount to named third-party charities after taking a platform service fee.
  3. Platform fees are a service charge for operating the board, proofs, wall, and related features. The default public fee is 12% of the amount you type plus $0.99, with whale discounts (10% on $1k–$10k, 8% above $10k, still plus $0.99). Cover-the-fee defaults ON for charity and OFF for crypto. Charity amounts are after fees. Corporate desk fees are 18% + $99. Optional Board Pass includes a disclosed 1% rebate. Fees are shown before you confirm.
  4. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Rank is recorded only after a paid Stripe session or a verified on-chain burn. Clicking pay does not plant a rank.
  5. Completed burns are irreversible. We do not refund destroyed crypto, donated dollars, or the platform fee on a completed burn — including burns attached to wall tiles.
  6. Rank is determined solely by verified burns, using the amount actually burned or donated after the platform fee (or the covered target if you elect to cover the fee). Rank cannot be bought, pinned, or sold. Paying the platform does not buy a better rank except by increasing that remainder.
  7. Live TOP 10 and TOP 50 badges (all-time and monthly) are status markers for current holders only. If you drop out of the tier, the live badge drops. Peak rank is a historical record. Badges are not property, not redeemable, not transferable, and have no cash value.
  8. This is not gambling, not a lottery, not a raffle, and not a chance-based prize. There is no 'burn for a chance to win.'
  9. Rank, badges, and burns are not investments, securities, commodities, or instruments that yield, appreciate, or pay a return. We do not promise profit. This is not financial advice.
  10. Burn Wall tiles are a display license on the current season's canvas plus a burn. Not land, not an NFT, not a security. Pixels will not appreciate. There is no resale marketplace. We may remove illegal content or malware links. Removal does not refund the burn.
  11. Shop items, Claim profile, Board Pass, spotlight, and verification are optional digital cosmetics or services. They do not affect rank. They are not investments and will not go up in value. Refunds only if we fail to deliver the purchased digital item.
  12. Sponsored slots and Spotlight are advertising, labeled as such, and are not ranks.
  13. Charity amounts are labeled 'donated after platform fee.' We never advertise that 100% goes to charity when a fee is taken. You may optionally cover the fee so the charity still receives the amount you intended.
  14. Rank is not planted from an unpaid click or a demo charge. Card checkout uses Stripe. Crypto burns use Ethereum.
  15. We may refuse service, including dust burns below the published minimum ($25 submitted for public burns).
  16. These terms are the rules of a hall of fame for irreversible loss, not an offering of any financial product.
